These are so nice – you wouldn’t even guess they were gluten free, if you didn’t already know.
The outer pastry is good. It’s not too dry, like gluten free products can be. The jam and almond filling tastes lovely, and the icing is really soft. And of course, there’s a sweet glace cherry on the top – my favourite part.
I will be buying these again. My only complaints are that they are not available at Ocado, who stock other Lovemore products. And that there are only 4 bakewells in a box – I wish there were 6!
